It is just about a inch brief for the seating but if you take consideration at the shape of the ergonomic in the past we understand. Making it further back or longer at the front end would maybe which makes it unbalance and unsafe. I still love it, and comfy enough to do the job for few time without complaining. Bonus is the arms increasing when needed.

I purchased two of the Hirst Mesh Drafting Chair for a shared work place. They are comfortable and the perfect height for our double-sided do the job/craft desks. I have assembled a lot of furniture in my own lifetime and, truly, these chairs came with the easiest to follow directions of any piece before it. The hardware was also packed in individual blister packages for each step of the process and the extra pieces were clearly marked, therefore i wasnt left wondering afterwards easily missed something.
